What information I collect
I only collect personal data that you provide directly, mainly through the contact form on this website. This may include:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number (optional)
- Which coaching package you're interested in (optional)
- Any details you choose to share about your goals or message
I don't use this website to collect payment details, health records, or any other sensitive information — anything of that nature is discussed and handled separately, in person or by phone, once you've booked a consultation.
How I use your information
I use the information you submit to:
- Respond to your enquiry and arrange a free consultation or session
- Answer any questions you've asked about coaching packages
- Keep basic records of client communication, if you go on to become a client
I don't use your contact details for marketing emails or newsletters unless you separately and explicitly ask to be added to something like that, and I never sell or rent your data to third parties.
Legal basis for processing
I process your data based on consent (you choose to submit the contact form) and, where you become a client, legitimate interest in keeping the records necessary to provide coaching services to you.
How long I keep your information
If you contact me but don't go on to become a client, I'll keep your enquiry details for a reasonable period in case you follow up, and delete them if there's been no further contact. If you become a client, I keep relevant records for as long as needed to provide coaching services and to meet any legal or accounting requirements afterwards.
Sharing your information
I don't share, sell or rent your personal data to third parties for their own marketing purposes. Your enquiry may pass through a third-party form-processing or email-delivery service purely to get your message to me — those services only handle the data required to deliver it and don't use it for anything else.
Cookies
This website doesn't use tracking or marketing cookies. The only external tool currently in use is Google Search Console, which reports on how the site performs in Google Search — it doesn't track individual visitors or set cookies in your browser. If that changes in future (for example, if analytics tools are added), this policy will be updated and, where required, you'll be asked for cookie consent.
Third-party services and embeds
This site uses a small number of third-party services that operate under their own privacy policies:
- Google Maps — embedded on the homepage and contact page to show the gym location. Google may process data in line with their own privacy policy when you interact with the map.
- Google Fonts — used to load the typefaces on this site.
- Instagram — the footer links out to @coachollieburman on Instagram; once you leave this site, Instagram's own privacy policy applies.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Ask what personal data I hold about you
- Ask me to correct inaccurate data
- Ask me to delete your data
- Ask me to restrict or object to how your data is used
- Ask for a copy of your data in a portable format

Keeping your information secure
I take reasonable steps to protect any personal data submitted through this site, but no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. Please avoid sending sensitive information (such as health details) through the contact form — these are best discussed directly once we're in touch.

This website and its services are intended for adults. If you're under 18 and interested in coaching, please have a parent or guardian get in touch on your behalf.
